One year ago today, on 6th April 2021, we offically published ‘Dogged’. It’s the debut novel from Emma Purshouse – Wolverhampton’s first poet laureate and recent 3rd prize winner in the National Poetry Competition (with over 16,700 entries!) – and it’s really rather good.
The first edition sold out early this year, and the second print run arrived at Ignite Villas a few weeks ago. We’re delighted to say it’s already selling nicely. But why wouldn’t it? A novel examining what happens when two Wolverhampton pensioners try to defend a shopping trolley full of bingo winnings is just the tonic in times like these. If you’ve read it already, you’ll know. If you haven’t, then what on earth are you waiting for? Just pop along to our online shop and treat yourself to a copy. Trust us, you won’t regret it.
